Girls Reaching Out (G.R.O.) is a nonprofit service outreach organization at UNC Greensboro. This organization was founded by Khristina Cunningham in 2006. She saw that there was a lack of leadership and confidence among the young women at UNCG, and decided that something had to be done. This goal of Girls Reaching Out is to uplift, inspire, and encourage the young women in the community.
G.R.O. has a mentoring program, Leading Ladies of Lincoln. This is an after-school program designed to mentor young ladies of The Academy of Lincoln. The focus of this mentoring program is to implement the development of womanhood and other significant qualities in the lives of young ladies. Some of these qualities include respect, self-esteem and worth, integrity, ambition, drive and much more. They meet once a week with their students in hope of building and maintaining healthy relationships that will affect the lives of these children in a positive way.

Vice President- Gloria Spencer
Members at Large- Shevon Smith and Adrienne Green
Leading Ladies Coordinators- Gabrielle Morris
